Seven Killed, Two Critically Injured in Ramgarh Road Accident

A tragic road accident late Thursday night claimed seven lives and left two critically injured near Lari in the Rajrappa police station area of Ramgarh district. The collision occurred around midnight on the Ramgarh–Bokaro route when a passenger vehicle carrying members of a local tasha party collided head‑on with a truck.
According to police sources, the passenger pickup (registration number JH‑02Q‑8268) was en route from Gola to Ramgarh when it was struck by a truck (registration number JH‑02AA‑4786) coming from the opposite direction. The impact was severe, killing seven passengers instantly and injuring nearly a dozen others.
Emergency services rushed the injured to Ramgarh Sadar Hospital. Two victims in critical condition were later referred to RIMS, Ranchi, for advanced treatment. The deceased reportedly include residents of Marangmarcha village under Rajrappa police station.
The accident scene was marked by chaos and grief, with cries of survivors and bystanders filling the air. Police teams from Rajrappa and adjoining areas quickly reached the site to manage the situation and clear the traffic jam that had formed on the highway.
Authorities confirmed that investigations are underway to determine the exact cause of the collision.
