State level workshop organized on prohibition of child labor

Child labor is a problem related to social and economic inequality. When we crush a child under the burden of labour, we not only hurt his body but also stop the journey of his soul. Jharkhand’s thinker and writer Dr Mayank Murari said these things. He was speaking today at a state level workshop on prohibition of child labour.

In the program organized under the aegis of International Labor Movement and BKS, Dr. Mayank Murari said that every child is the direct embodiment of God, divine light resides in his innocent soul.  Child labor is a crime against the soul’s natural growth, learning, playing and experiencing divine love. Today, on World Day Against Child Labour, it reminds us all that it is our religious, moral and spiritual duty to protect every child, provide him education and freedom. Only when children blossom, the lotus of consciousness of the society will develop. Let us pledge for the purification of our souls that no child will now be lost in the dark streets of labour, but will move forward in the light of knowledge and love. Every child should be free, this is true worship.
