Pakur Police have arrested three persons in connection with the alleged kidnapping of a minor girl from Jamri village under Amrapara police station in Pakur district and rescued the girl safely, Maheshpur SDPO Vijay Kumar said on Sunday. Addressing a press conference at Amrapara police station, the SDPO said the action was taken on the directions of Pakur Superintendent of Police Anudeep Singh. A Special Investigation Team (SIT), constituted under his leadership, carried out searches based on technical inputs and human intelligence and successfully traced the minor. According to police, information was received through Dial-112 on July 27 that three unidentified persons had allegedly taken a girl from Jamri village on a motorcycle. Following a written complaint from her family, Amrapara police registered Case No. 59/2026 on July 28 under Sections 140(1) and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
