Yoga Day celebration at PVUNL

Patratu Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited (PVUNL) celebrated the International Day of Yoga 2026 with great enthusiasm and participation at the PVUNL  Township Ground on Sunday. The event witnessed the active involvement of employees, family members, CISF personnel, contractor agencies, and students, highlighting the importance of yoga in promoting physical and mental well-being.

The programme was graced by A.K. Sehgal, CEO, PVUNL, along with Manish Khetrapal, GM (O&M), Bishnu Dutta Dash, GM (Project), O.P. Solanki, GM (Maintenance), and Renu Sehgal, President, Swarnrekha Mahila Samiti. Around 40 schoolgirls from Kasturba Gandhi School also participated enthusiastically in the event.

The participants performed various yoga asanas and breathing exercises under expert guidance, emphasizing the theme of adopting yoga as a way of life. Addressing the gathering, A.K. Sehgal highlighted the significance of yoga in achieving harmony between body and mind and encouraged everyone to incorporate yoga into their daily routine for a healthier and more balanced lifestyle.

The event reflected PVUNL’s commitment towards promoting health, wellness, and community engagement. The programme concluded with a collective pledge to embrace yoga as an integral part of everyday life.
