15 youths secure jobs at Deoghar employment fair

In a bid to enhance employment opportunities for local youth, a one-day employment fair was organised by the District Employment Office, Deoghar, on Saturday under the aegis of the Department of Labour, Employment, Training and Skill Development, Government of Jharkhand. The event was held as per the directions of Deputy Commissioner Saurabh Kumar Bhuvania.
The job fair witnessed the participation of six private-sector employers and around 130 local job seekers from across the district. Following interviews and screening processes conducted by the participating companies, 30 candidates were shortlisted, out of which 15 were selected and provided on-the-spot offer letters.
Among the major recruiters participating in the employment fair were Deoghar Child Hospital & Deoghar Eye Hospital, Badhte Kadam, JITM Skill Pvt. Ltd., Try Mega Skill Center, Maihar Hotel & Resort Pvt. Ltd., and Hotel Madhumala International.
Recruitment was carried out for a variety of positions, including Advisor, BCA/MCA professionals, GNM/ANM staff, candidates with certificate courses after Class 12, Area Manager, Field Officer, Executive Marketing and other roles.
Officials said the initiative was aimed at connecting local youth with employment opportunities available within the district and reducing the gap between job seekers and employers.
The district administration informed that similar employment fairs and recruitment camps will be organised in the coming months to ensure that more local youths benefit from employment and skill-based opportunities, thereby contributing to the district’s economic development.
