Enthusiastic Participation in Sanskar Bharati’s Yoga Camps on International Yoga Day
On the occasion of International Yoga Day, Sanskar Bharati, Ranchi Mahanagar, successfully organized yoga camps at two different venues. A special yoga session for women was held at Healthy Mind, Vicky Complex, near Mahadev Temple, Lower Chutia, Ranchi, while another yoga camp was conducted at the Chiranjeevi Kids Play School Campus, Hombai-Kedal, NH-20, Ranchi. A large number of Sanskar Bharati members, women, youth, and senior citizens enthusiastically participated in the yoga sessions at both locations.
The program commenced with the collective rendition of the Sanskar Bharati Theme Song, which conveyed the message of Indian culture, national consciousness, and commitment to a healthy lifestyle. This was followed by yoga practice sessions at both venues.
At the women’s yoga camp held at Healthy Mind, Lower Chutia, yoga instructor Anjali Jain guided participants through various yoga postures, pranayama, and meditation techniques. She emphasized that yoga is especially important for women in today’s fast-paced and stressful lifestyle. Regular practice of yoga not only strengthens physical health but also enhances mental balance and self-confidence. She encouraged women to make yoga an integral part of their daily routine.
At the yoga camp organized at the Chiranjeevi Kids Play School campus, Hombai-Kedal, yoga instructors Suraj Kumar and Pritam Banik conducted sessions on yoga asanas, pranayama, and meditation. They stated that yoga is not merely a form of physical exercise but a scientific and disciplined way of life.
On this occasion, Ramanuj Pathak, President of Sanskar Bharati, Ranchi Mahanagar, said that yoga is a priceless gift of India’s ancient sage tradition, which is now being embraced by the entire world.
Ashutosh Prasad, Vice President of Sanskar Bharati, Ranchi Mahanagar, remarked that yoga serves as a means of harmonizing the body, mind, and soul and offers an effective solution to many of the physical and mental challenges of modern times. He added that yoga is an integral part of Indian philosophy and way of life, and it is essential to take it to every section of society.
Avanindra Singh, Convenor of Performing Arts, stated that yoga symbolizes India’s holistic vision of life, where health, spiritual practice, and self-development are beautifully integrated.
Anup Majumdar, Treasurer of Sanskar Bharati, said that yoga strengthens individuals from within and helps spread positive energy throughout society.
Among those present were renowned vocalist Sujata Majumdar, artist Deepmala, Rashmi Narayan, Bhola Biswas, Shekhar Kumar, Divakar, Abhishek Kumar, Dr. Aarti Vishwanath, Dhananjay Mahto, along with several members and office bearers of Sanskar Bharati. All participants described the Yoga Day celebration as a significant initiative toward promoting health awareness in society.
The International Yoga Day program successfully conveyed the message of “Healthy Life, Prosperous Culture” and inspired greater awareness and enthusiasm for yoga among the people.
