Dhanbad SSP honours 65 homeopathic doctors on Doctors’ Day

Dhanbad Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Prabhat Kumar honoured 65 homeopathic doctors during a National Doctors’ Day programme organised by the Dhanbad Homeopathic Doctors Association at Hotel Radisson on Wednesday.

Inaugurating the event by lighting the ceremonial lamp, the SSP presented mementoes to the doctors in recognition of their contribution to healthcare. Addressing the gathering, he said doctors are among the most trusted members of society and are serving humanity with dedication and compassion. He described the medical profession as one of the noblest forms of public service.

Prabhat Kumar also praised homeopathic practitioners for preserving and promoting the system despite rapid advances in modern medicine. He urged them to continue extending quality healthcare to poor and underprivileged sections of society.

The programme was attended by Dr. Kajal Sarkar, Dr. Vijay Kumar, Dr. C.B. Mehta, Dr. Rani Sajashree, office-bearers of the association, and hundreds of homeopathic doctors from across the district.
