At the prestigious 2026 Annual Conference of the ‘Brazilian Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery,’ held in Brazil (South America), two renowned and senior ophthalmologists from Ranchi (Jharkhand)—Dr. Bharti Kashyap and Dr. B.P. Kashyap—received a special honor on the international stage as ‘Guest Speakers.’
On this global platform, both senior physicians delivered lectures across three ‘Master Classes,’ sharing their experiences and insights into modern techniques within the medical field.
During the conference’s pivotal Surgical Video Session, the specialized “Patella Fracture Technique for Hard Cataract Surgery”—developed by Kashyap Memorial Eye Hospital for the treatment of advanced hard cataracts—was demonstrated. International experts and scientists hailed this technique as highly commendable and impressive.
Additionally, Dr. Bharti Kashyap delivered a special lecture on the Flapless LASIK procedure, based on Schwind Amaris Laser technology. For their outstanding academic and surgical contributions, Dr. Bharti Kashyap and Dr. B.P. Kashyap were honored with mementos at the conference.
