CUJ Opens Second Round of Registration for Admission to Vacant Postgraduate Seats

The Central University of Jharkhand (CUJ) has commenced the second round of online registration for admission to vacant seats in its postgraduate (PG) programmes for the academic session 2026–27. Eligible candidates can register online from July 8 to July 15, 2026.
As per the admission notification issued by the University, the second round of counselling is being conducted exclusively for those programmes and reservation categories where the waiting list has been exhausted. Candidates who have qualified CUET (PG)-2026 in the relevant mapped subject and fulfil the prescribed eligibility criteria are eligible to participate in the admission process.
The University has also released the dynamic vacancy position as on July 7, 2026, indicating the availability of 171 vacant seats across various postgraduate programmes. The highest number of vacancies is available in M.Com (37 seats), followed by Public Administration (30), English (20), Statistics (15), Theatre Arts (14), Chemistry (13), Vocal Music (12), Geoinformatics (10), Tibetan Language (7), MBA (6), Geology (4), Political Science (International Relations Specialisation) (2), and B.Ed. (Language) (1). At present, no vacancies are available in the B.Ed. programmes in Life Science, Social Science, and Physical Science & Mathematics.
The University has clarified that the vacancy position is dynamic and may change during the admission process. Candidates are advised to check the latest vacancy status on the University website before completing their registration.
The notification further states that candidates who had already completed online counselling registration and whose names appeared in the list of registered candidates published on June 19, 2026, but were unable to appear for document verification on the scheduled date, are not required to register again. However, such candidates must submit the prescribed Google Form corresponding to the available vacant seats.
The University has urged all eligible candidates to complete the registration process within the stipulated timeline and regularly visit the University website for the latest admission-related updates. Candidates are also advised to carefully read the admission notification and ensure compliance with all eligibility conditions and counselling requirements before applying.
