A review-cum-training meeting for Summary Intensive Revision (SIR) of the voter list was organised on July 13, 2026, at Shilpgram, Nandan Pahad. The meeting was chaired by the Electoral Registration Officer-cum-Sub Divisional Officer, Deoghar Ravi kumar.
The main objective was to accelerate the SIR process and train volunteers. All SIR volunteers were given detailed training on door-to-door distribution and collection of materials, and preparing accurate ASDD (Absent, Shifted, Dead, Duplicate) lists.
The SDO instructed volunteers to coordinate closely with Booth Level Officers (BLOs) in their assigned areas and extend full support to make the voter list error-free and updated so that no eligible voter is left out. Officials also provided practical tips for resolving field issues and emphasised completing the work impartially within the given timeline.
