A special inspection drive was conducted on 14 July 2026 by Deputy Election Officer Sagari Baral to ensure the successful and smooth implementation of the Voter List Intensive Revision Programme-2026.
During the inspection, she thoroughly reviewed all polling stations from booth number 192 to 196 located at Sant Mary Balika High School building on R.N. Bose Road, Satsang Nagar.
The DEO specially examined the identification and verification process of ASDD (Absent, Shifted, Dead & Duplicate) voters. She also obtained detailed point-wise feedback from the Booth Level Officers (BLOs) and BLO Supervisors present at the centres regarding the filling of enumeration forms and their timely submission.
She directed that the revision work must be carried out with complete transparency and accuracy within the stipulated time. During the inspection, BLOs highlighted various practical and technical difficulties they were facing in field work. The DEO resolved these issues on the spot and issued necessary guidelines to the concerned officers.
