Preparations for the upcoming Adivasi Mahotsav 2026 gathered pace as Home Department Additional Chief Secretary Vandana Dadel conducted a detailed inspection of the event venue at Morhabadi Ground on Wednesday and reviewed the progress of various arrangements.
During the inspection, Dadel assessed the ongoing work and directed officials to ensure that all preparations are completed within the stipulated timeline while maintaining high-quality standards. She stressed that every aspect of the event should reflect efficient planning and execution.
She instructed officials to pay special attention to security, sanitation, traffic management, drinking water facilities, uninterrupted power supply and other visitor amenities. Emphasising the need for seamless arrangements, she said that people attending the festival should not face any inconvenience and that the event should be organised in a grand and orderly manner befitting the state’s rich tribal cultural heritage.
The Additional Chief Secretary also reviewed the progress of stage construction, exhibition stalls, parking facilities and crowd management measures. She underscored the importance of close coordination among all departments and agencies involved in the preparations, stating that collective efforts would be key to ensuring the successful conduct of the festival.
The inspection was attended by Welfare Commissioner Kuldeep Choudhary, Information and Public Relations Department Special Secretary Rajiv Lochan Bakshi, Ranchi Deputy Commissioner Manjunath Bhajantri, Tribal Research Institute Director Alok S. Kachhap, Ranchi City Superintendent of Police Paras Rana, along with officials from various departments.
