ILCC Holds Inter School Group Song Competition

An “Inter School Group Song Competition” for Classes 6-8 was held at The International Library and Cultural Center on Wednesday, 12th August 2026 at 10:30 A.M.

The theme for the competition was Deshbhakti (Patriotism). The songs presented by the students were “Azadi ki Khuli Hawa Mein” by Dilip K Pathak, “Ekta Swatantrta Samanta Rahe” by Pandit Mukesh Bharadwaj, “Rashtra ki Chetna ka Gan Vandematram” by Shashank Pathak and Amit Thakur, “Rang aisa Bharo” by Shri Ram Lal Mathur and “Suraj Chamke Chanda Chamke”. Accompanying artistes on the instruments were also school students. The participants were talented and well trained. Each presentation had a rousing, foot-thumping quality to it and the children sang with heartfelt fervour. The atmosphere was filled with patriotic fever.

The programme was organised and conducted by Mrs. Rekha Mishra, Chairperson Cultural Comittee.

The Librarian Mrs. Nivedita Sharma was also present.

The Judges were Mrs. Sharmishtha Majumdar, Mrs. Suprna Sengupta and Mrs. Tannushree Mukherjee Pandya.
