To clear the extra rush of passengers heading to Baba Baidyanath Dham, Deoghar, during the ongoing Shravani Mela. Train 08895 (Itwari → Madhupur): Will leave Itwari on 18.08.2026 and 25.08.2026. Train 08896 (Madhupur → Itwari): Will leave Madhupur on 19.08.2026 and 26.08.2026.
These extra trips will operate on the train’s existing path, stoppages, and timings. Originally announced as a weekly special (Saturdays from Itwari / Sundays from Madhupur, 5 trips each way between early August and end-August 2026), the service is being augmented with these two extra pairs, bringing the total to seven trips in each direction. This helps devotees from the Nagpur/Chhattisgarh side secure berths more easily.
