AIBOA gets new office bearers

The 3rd State Conference of the All India Bank Officers’ Association (AIBOA), Jharkhand State Unit, concluded successfully in Ranchi today. The conference featured comprehensive discussions on the current challenges facing the banking sector, the issues faced by employees and officers, and the future direction of the organization.
A new state executive committee was elected unanimously during the conference. The newly elected office-bearers include: – Com. Sadhan Das – President, Com. Ghanshyam Srivastava – General Secretary, Com. Sanjay Kumar Prasad – Deputy General Secretary, Com. Nishant Prabhakar – Treasurer.
Addressing the conference, AIBOA General Secretary Com. S. Nagarajan expressed serious concern regarding the current crisis in the country’s banking sector, the rising workload in banks, staff shortages, and the hardships faced by bank officers and employees. He emphasized the need to rectify existing pension anomalies and demanded that justice be ensured for pensioners.
Paying tribute to the late Com. Tarkeshwar Chakraborty, Com. Nagarajan noted that he had dedicated his entire life to protecting bank employees from the injustice and harassment of management. He set an inspiring example of struggle for the protection of employees’ rights.
He also recalled the contributions of the great trade union leader Com. H. L. Parwana, who fought ceaselessly for the rights of his fellow employees and sacrificed his life at the age of just 52. Com. Parwana’s life was entirely [dedicated] to the interests and welfare of bank employees.
