Airtel Payments Bank reported an 82% year-on-year rise in net profit to Rs 19 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, while revenue grew to Rs 830.5 crore from Rs 777.4 crore in Q1 FY26. EBITDA increased 31% YoY to Rs 107.5 crore, taking the bank’s annualised revenue past Rs 3,300 crore.
Customer balances rose 17% to Rs 4,389 crore, while Savings Bank Account Monthly Transacting Users increased 23% to 29.5 million. The bank said its annualised gross merchandise value stood at Rs 4,523 billion.
Airtel Payments Bank also crossed 6.5 million National Common Mobility Cards issued and continued to process one in four AePS transactions. Its network has more than 500,000 active banking points, covering three in four villages, the bank said.
MD and CEO Anubrata Biswas said growing adoption of digital banking and the Safe Second Account proposition supported the strong start to FY27.
