Ansari offers treatment support to injured TMC MP Abhishek

Jharkhand Health Minister Irfan Ansari has expressed deep concern over the reported injury of Abhishek Banerjee, nephew of Mamata Banerjee, and has offered full medical support from the Jharkhand government.
Addressing the issue, Dr. Ansari urged Mamata Banerjee to consider sending Abhishek Banerjee to Jharkhand if required, assuring that the state would provide the best possible medical care along with complete security arrangements. He termed the incident involving Abhishek Banerjee as “deeply concerning” and strongly condemned it.
The minister emphasized that while political differences are natural in a democracy, the safety, dignity, and health of public representatives must never be compromised. He stated that if Abhishek Banerjee is unable to receive proper treatment due to any pressure or unfavorable circumstances, it would be a matter of serious concern.
Dr. Ansari further added that under the guidance of Rahul Gandhi and the leadership of Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren, the state government is fully prepared to ensure his safety, dignity, and access to top-quality healthcare facilities.
Reiterating his responsibility as Health Minister, Dr. Ansari assured that Jharkhand has the capacity to provide advanced and comprehensive medical treatment. He also called on the Bharatiya Janata Party to uphold democratic values and respect both the ruling and opposition leaders.
He concluded by demanding a fair and impartial investigation into the incident and stressed that strict action must be taken against those found responsible.
