Blood donation camp in Dumka

On the occasion of World Blood Donor Day, a voluntary blood donation camp was organized at the local Blood Center on Sunday. The camp was held under the joint auspices of the Human Information Collection and Dissemination Center, Dumka, and the Indian Red Cross Society, Dumka branch. A total of 14 individuals donated blood during the drive, setting an inspiring example of community service for society.

The donors who came forward for this noble cause included Ravi Kant Suman, Secretary of the Human Information Collection and Dissemination Center, alongside Dr. Raj Kumar Upadhyay, Chairman of the Indian Red Cross Society, and Secretary Dr. Amarendra Kumar Yadav. Other notable donors were Mani Keshari, Kuldeep Kumar Mitthoo, Nimai Chandra Rakshit, Vishwajeet Kumar Saha, Sachidanand, Umesh Kumar Raut, Santosh Kumar Jha, Chandan Kumar Gupta, Sona Singh, Amit Kumar, and Sunil Kumar Singh.

The successful execution of the camp was supported by Indian Red Cross Society Vice Chairman Dr. Manoj Kumar Ghosh, Joint Secretary Dr. Sikandar Kumar, Dharmendra Singh Bittu, Garib Das Memorial Trust Secretary Vivek Bharti, Ravi Gorai, and Mithlesh Yadav. Technicians Prakash Kumar Dey and Kajal Sen from the Dumka Blood Center provided critical technical assistance.

Additionally, the Garib Das Memorial Trust arranged refreshments for all the participants. Following their donation, the Blood Center of Phulo Jhano Medical College and Hospital honored the donors by presenting them with certificates of appreciation.
