A 15-year-old girl from Dhori Basti in Fusro, suffering from congenital heart disease, has successfully undergone heart surgery at Amrita Hospital in Kochi, Kerala, following timely intervention by the Bokaro district administration.
Deputy Commissioner Ajay Nath Jha had taken prompt cognizance of a complaint received through social media platform X and directed the concerned officials to initiate necessary action. Acting on his instructions, the Civil Surgeon, Bokaro, and Executive Officer of Phusro Municipal Council facilitated the girl’s treatment and referral to Amrita Hospital for specialised cardiac care.
The surgery was successfully performed on August 21, 2026. After receiving the required post-operative treatment and medical supervision, the girl, Khushi Kumari, has now returned home safely. Her health is reported to be normal.
Khushi’s family expressed gratitude to the Deputy Commissioner and the district administration, stating that timely administrative support made it possible for her to receive the necessary treatment.
Jha wished Khushi a speedy recovery and a bright future. He said that prompt resolution of genuine public grievances remains a priority of the district administration and that complaints received through social media and other platforms are being addressed with sensitivity and due action.
