Bokaro DC honours BLOs for outstanding SIR performance

District Election Officer-cum-Deputy Commissioner Ajay Nath Jha honoured two Booth Level Officers (BLOs) from the Bermo Assembly constituency under the “Bokaro: BLO of the Day” initiative for their exceptional contribution to the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR)-2026 campaign.

Savita Devi was recognised for digitising 168 enumeration forms in a single day, while Madhulata Devi was awarded for distributing 591 enumeration forms. The Deputy Commissioner personally visited Rajkiyakrit Middle School, Jaridih Basti, Bermo, and felicitated both BLOs with shawls.

Jha said BLOs play a vital role in strengthening the electoral process and urged them to work proactively to ensure that every eligible voter is covered during the SIR-2026 exercise. He also appreciated AERO-cum-Bermo BDO Mukesh Kumar and Circle Officer Sanjeet Kumar for their effective leadership and coordination in the campaign.

Trainee IAS Arvind Radhakrishnan, Bermo SDO Manoj Kumar, DPRO Ravi Kumar and APRO Avinash Kumar Singh were present on the occasion.
