Bokaro Police intensify night patrolling, anti-crime checks

Acting on the directions of Bokaro SP Nathu Singh Meena , district police have intensified night foot patrolling, anti-crime checking and traffic enforcement drives across various police station areas ahead of Muharram and other upcoming events.

The campaign aims to strengthen police presence, deter anti-social and criminal elements, and maintain law and order in sensitive locations.

Police teams conducted foot patrolling in markets, major intersections and public places, while carrying out verification of suspicious persons and vehicles. Special checking drives were also undertaken against drunk driving and other traffic violations. Police officials noted that triple riding on two-wheelers continues to be a matter of concern from a road safety perspective, and riders were advised to strictly adhere to traffic rules.

Police said such preventive measures will continue across the district to ensure a safe and peaceful environment during the festive period.
