Amarnath Kumar emerged victorious in the Second Jharkhand High Court Chess Championship,2026, defeating a competitive field at the event organised at the Jharkhand High Court. Dipak Kumar finished as the first runner-up, while Santosh Barha secured the second runner-up position. The championship witnessed the participation and presence of Chief Justice of Jharkhand High Court Justice M. S.Sonak and Justice Rongon Mukhopadhyay, Chairman of the High Court Sports Committee. Members of the Registry, officers and staff of the High Court were also present on the occasion. The tournament was hosted by Neelendu Sharan, Joint Registrar (Administration), while Dipak Srivastava served as the Chief Arbiter.
