BOKARO
Bokaro Steel Plant (BSL) is continuing its longstanding tradition of providing medical assistance to Kanwariyas and devotees during the Shravan Mela at Baidyanath Dham. For more than two decades, BSL has been organising first-aid services at Deoghar as part of its commitment to public welfare.
Under BSL’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, the medical mobile unit Ispat Sanjeevani, operated by Piramal Swasthya, is providing primary healthcare and essential medical support to devotees from the Bokaro Steel Dharmashala in Deoghar. A dedicated team comprising a medical consultant, nurse, pharmacist, lab technician and volunteers of Baidyanath Seva Trust is attending to the healthcare needs of the pilgrims.
The team has so far provided first aid, essential medicines and emergency medical assistance to hundreds of Kanwariyas and devotees. The services will continue throughout the Shravan Mela.
The medical team was flagged off for Baidyanath Dham from the Ispat Bhavan premises of BSL on August 3. It will remain dedicated to serving pilgrims throughout the Mela.
The initiative reflects BSL’s commitment to community welfare and its efforts to extend accessible healthcare services during major religious and cultural gatherings, reaffirming its sense of social responsibility and public service.
