BOKARO
Bokaro Steel Plant (BSL) organised a special felicitation ceremony at Mangalam Banquet Hall, Sector-4, on National Sports Day 2026 to honour outstanding sportspersons, winning teams and promising young talents. The programme was organised by the Contact & Administration – Sports and Civic Amenities Department to promote sportsmanship and encourage children and youth towards sports.
The Director-in-Charge, BSL, attended the programme as the chief guest. Senior officials, sportspersons and sports enthusiasts were also present.
Sportspersons and teams that excelled while representing BSL in SAIL and inter-steel plant sports competitions during 2025-26 were felicitated with mementoes and certificates. Winners and runners-up from various sports competitions organised for students of 25 schools across Bokaro district were also honoured.
Congratulating the achievers, the Director-in-Charge encouraged them to continue their efforts with discipline, regular practice and dedication. He highlighted the importance of sports in developing teamwork, discipline, personality and a healthy lifestyle.
The programme reaffirmed BSL’s commitment to nurturing sporting talent and promoting a strong sports culture among children and youth in Bokaro.
