Chinmaya Amrit Yatra departs from Bokaro for Jamshedpur

The two-day Chinmaya Amrit Yatra concluded on Sunday with an emotional farewell from Chinmaya Vidyalaya Bokaro. The yatra was flagged off for Chinmaya Mission Chas before proceeding to Jamshedpur amid chants in praise of Swami Chinmayananda Saraswati.
The flag-off ceremony was attended by Swamini Sanyuktananda Saraswati, school president Biswarup Mukhopadhyay, secretary Mahesh Tripathi, principal Suraj Sharma, senior vice-principal Narmendra Kumar and vice-principal Dr Roshan Sharma.
Before the departure, members of the management and faculty offered prayers before Gurudev’s sacred padukas and paid tribute to his enduring legacy.
Speaking on the occasion, Mahesh Tripathi said the Amrit Yatra was not merely a journey but a vehicle for spreading Gurudev’s teachings across the country. He urged students to imbibe his ideals and take pride in India’s culture and heritage.
Principal Suraj Sharma described the occasion as emotional and memorable, saying the yatra had inspired and energized the entire Bokaro family.
After devotees at Chinmaya Mission Chas paid their respects to Gurudev’s padukas, the yatra continued to Jamshedpur, accompanied by Brahmachari Sudhir Chaitanya, Tarini Chaitanya and members of the Chinmaya Yuva Kendra.
