Ishan Gop of Chinmaya Vidyalaya has emerged as the Bokaro district topper in Re-NEET 2026, securing 670 out of 720 marks, 99.972 percentile, and All India Rank (AIR) 517. On Monday, he visited his school with his parents to seek the blessings of his teachers. School Secretary Mahesh Tripathi, Principal Suraj Sharma, Senior Vice-Principal Narmendra Kumar, and Vice-Principal Dr. Roshan Sharma congratulated him on his achievement.
Ishan credited his success to consistent practice, mock tests, and a strong interest in biology. Despite the cancellation of the first NEET examination, limited preparation time for Re-NEET, and ill health on both examination days, he remained focused and continued his preparation.
The son of Central Government employee Bhagirath Gop and homemaker Shweta Kumari, Ishan aspires to become a neurosurgeon. He advised aspiring candidates to stay determined, practise regularly, and never give up in the face of challenges.
