Dalmia Bharat conducts eco awareness drive in Bokaro

Dalmia Bharat Limited organized a series of awareness and community engagement programmes in Bokaro during World Environment Week 2026. More than 560 participants, including employees and local residents, took part in the initiatives aimed at promoting environmental conservation and climate responsibility.

The activities included awareness campaigns on sustainable living, distribution of disposal bags to encourage responsible waste management, and painting and slogan-writing competitions to foster environmental consciousness among children and youth. Cleanliness drives and plantation activities were also conducted, with several saplings planted across the area.

Sunil Kumar K. Bhusari, Unit Head, DCBL Bokaro, said environmental protection is closely linked to safeguarding natural resources, ecosystems, and communities. He noted that clean air, safe water, biodiversity, and climate balance are vital for sustainable development and reaffirmed Dalmia Bharat’s commitment to creating long-term positive environmental and social impact through collective action.
