In a stellar validation of its environmental conservation and sustainable tourism initiatives, the Forest Department has clinched a major national accolade. The celebrated Masanjore Eco-Cottage Project, spearheaded by the Dumka Forest Division, has been conferred with the prestigious ‘National SKOCH Award’.

Expressing immense pride over this landmark achievement, the Divisional Forest Officer stated that the national honor is the direct fruit of the relentless hard work, dedication, and forward-looking vision of the entire Dumka Forest Division team. Nestled in the lap of nature, these eco-cottages have not only successfully preserved the local environment and ecology but have also carved out a distinct identity on the national tourism map. The officer further emphasized that this award marks a monumental milestone for the entire Forest Department and the state as a whole.
