ESL Steel observes World Environment Day

ESL Steel Limited marked World Environment Day 2026 with plantation drives, awareness programmes and community outreach activities. Under the “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” campaign, over 150 employees planted more than 1,000 native saplings across a 1.80-acre site, the first phase of a plan to plant over 15,000 saplings. CEO and Whole Time Director Ravish Sharma participated in the drive and urged employees to adopt sustainable practices. In collaboration with CISF and SAIL, another 1,000 saplings were planted near Circuit House, Bokaro. The celebrations also featured awareness sessions, competitions and cleanliness drives involving over 300 participants.
