From son’s love to Baba’s lessons: CM shares Father’s Day messages

Marking Father’s Day with heartfelt messages, Chief Minister Hemant Soren offered a glimpse into his personal life on Sunday, by sharing a note he received from his sons expressing their love and appreciation for him while also paying homage to the guidance and values he has inculcated from his late father, JMM founder Shibu Soren.

In a social media post, Soren shared two photographs- one is a sketch of the CM and the other of a note received from his children. The artwork features a representation of Google with the question ‘Who is the Best Father?’ with the search engine giving a prompt answer ‘The best father is Hemant Soren. Since even though he has a lot of work, he still manages to spend time with his family’.

Soren expressed that receiving this love and affection amid his busy schedule is his biggest achievement. “The biggest achievement in the whole world for me is the love, trust and affection of my children. This message and this art made by both my children with their own hands on Father’s Day is priceless to me. When children’s feelings are expressed in this way, the heart is filled with pride, love and gratitude. Thank you Champs!”, posted the father on social media platform X.

Hemant Soren, the son, also penned an emotional message for his late father and veteran tribal leader Shibu Soren along with a picture of the duo. “Father is not just a relationship but a school of struggle, courage, determination and values where one gets the greatest knowledge of living life. Baba Dishom Guru Shibu Soren always taught us that the greatest strength is the trust of the people and that true service lies in standing firm for the rights of our state and people under all circumstances. His tireless struggle, sacrifice, ideas and blessings have guided us to serve the people. Hundreds of salutations to my father, my guide, my teacher Late Baba Dishom Guruji” read the message.
