K. Raju to review organisation, SIR drive

All India Congress Committee (AICC) Permanent Invitee and Jharkhand in-charge K. Raju will visit the state from July 20 to 23 to review the party’s organisational preparedness and the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls. During the four-day visit, he will hold meetings with MLAs, MPs, ministers, party office-bearers and campaign committees, besides reviewing booth-level voter verification. Raju will also visit the Chief Electoral Officer’s office to submit a memorandum on SIR-related issues, address a press conference and chair key organisational meetings aimed at strengthening the Congress ahead of upcoming elections.
