Reading Month 2026 celebrated at SCS

As part of CBSE’s P.N. Panicker Reading Day-Month Celebration 2026, the Literary Club of Surendranath Centenary School organized a series of reading and literacy activities from 19th June to 18th July 2026 to promote reading habits, digital literacy, and lifelong learning among students. The Junior Wing participated in activities such as Read Aloud Poetry, Meri Kahani Meri Jubani, Word Formation, Maths Storytelling, Discussion on Famous Hindi Books, Comic Strip Creation, and Draw and Describe Your Study Corner. The Senior Wing engaged in Story Reading Circle, Vocabulary Hunt, Book Cover Analysis, Shabdkosh Nirman, Samachar Samiksha, Book vs Movie Discussion, and Class Magazine preparation, encouraging critical thinking and creative expression.
