BOKARO
Pentecostal Assembly School (PAS), Bokaro, hosted STEM Fair 2026, bringing together students of Grades VI–XII to research, design, build and test solutions to real-world challenges.
The two-day event culminated on August 20 with more than 295 project entries, highlighting the depth of STEM learning at the school. Students identified problems, developed concepts, tested models and refined their ideas through experimentation.
Students of Grades VI–VIII presented 164 projects, with 51 advancing to the final showcase. Exhibits included Ecobricks, smart dustbins, water-level indicators, hydraulic bridges, earthquake-resistant buildings and electromagnetic cranes.
Grades IX–X students presented more than 100 projects on robotics, Arduino-based technology, water pumps, environmental solutions and mathematics, with 24 qualifying for the final round. Grades XI–XII students showcased 31 working and conceptual models across Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Computer Science and Informatics Practices.
A 15-member panel of judges and industry experts evaluated the projects on originality, research, conceptual clarity, presentation and practical applicability. Their interaction challenged students to explain their ideas and assess their real-world potential.
Executive Director Dr. Daniel Michael Prasad, Chief Academic Officer Rita Prasad and Principal Dr. Karuna Prasad visited the exhibits and appreciated the students’ confidence and technical understanding.
Principal Dr. Karuna Prasad stressed that science education should encourage students to question, investigate and seek evidence, adding that innovation gains true value when backed by research, testing and a purpose to improve lives.
More than a competition, STEM Fair 2026 offered students hands-on experience in turning ideas into tested solutions, reflecting PAS Bokaro’s commitment to curiosity, innovation and responsible learning.
