June 12, 2026

PNS

Deoghar

In a heartfelt tribute to the renowned Hindi litterateur Ramshankar Mishra ‘Pankaj’, young poet Himanshu Jha has compiled his poetic compositions into a song collection, effectively reviving the late poet’s voice for a new generation.

This was expressed by former Jharkhand Minister Raj Palivar, who was the chief guest at the book launch ceremony. Speaking at the event held at Shyama Niwas, he congratulated the editor and said that while people were gradually forgetting Pankaj Ji, Himanshu Jha has done commendable work by weaving his creations into a book and bringing him back to life.

The chief launcher of the book, Ashokanand Jha, MD of Takshashila Vidyapeeth, said that litterateurs create their works selflessly. Such writers truly deserve to be called saints. He encouraged the young poet to continue his creative journey and assured him of all possible help from his side in the future.

Prominent among those present on the occasion were litterateurs Vishwanath Jha, Dr. Shankar Nath Jha, Umeshankar Rao Urendu, Amarnath Jha ‘Pankaj’, Prof. Ramnandan Singh, Sarveshwar Datt Dwari, Yogendra Jha, Nirmal Jha Mantu, Vinay Krishna Jha, Ravishankar Sah, Sanjay Mishra, Arun Anand Jha, Chandra Shekhar Khawade, Dr. Shankar Mohan Jha, advocate Shekhar Jha, ward councilor Shailaja Devi, and senior journalist Shambhu Sahay.

The programme was conducted by the renowned announcer Ramshevak Singh Gunjan.
