To enhance the convenience and safety of pilgrims attending the Rajakiya Shravani Mela 2026, the Deoghar district administration has introduced a QR code-based grievance redressal system across the mela area. Deputy Commissioner Saurabh Kumar Bhuvaniya said the initiative has been launched under the state government’s directions to ensure devotees visiting Baba Baidyanath Dham enjoy a smooth and hassle-free experience.
Under the new system, pilgrims can report any inconvenience by scanning QR codes installed at various locations in the mela area. A Google form opens after scanning, allowing users to submit complaints and upload photographs of the issue. The facility covers complaints related to toilets, drinking water, cleanliness, holding points, administrative and health camps, Kanwariya routes and other public services.
A dedicated monitoring cell has been established in the mela control room to track complaints in real time. Once a complaint is received, it is immediately forwarded to the concerned department, which is directed to resolve the issue without delay. A designated mela response team is then dispatched to the site for necessary action.
