Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Tuesday assured that his government would ensure justice for the state’s youth amid the ongoing agitation over alleged irregularities in recruitment examinations conducted by the Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) and Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC).
Speaking to mediapersons at Nemra, the Chief Minister said the government was sensitive to the concerns of young people and was aware of the issues being raised by them.
“We cannot tear open our chest to prove our intentions, but we can certainly say that justice will be done to the youth,” Soren said, as protests demanding a transparent and corruption-free recruitment process continue to gain momentum across the state.
He said the government was actively working to address the issue and was committed to resolving it. “Whenever we take up a problem, we do not stop until it is resolved,” he said.
The CM added that the government was awaiting the report of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), which is probing the alleged irregularities in the recruitment examinations. He said further action would be taken after the investigation report is submitted.
Earlier, JMM MLA Kalpana Soren had also stated that the Chief Minister was taking the matter seriously and closely monitoring all developments. She had said a decision on the issue would be taken soon.
