Swachhata Pakhwada 2026 inaugurated at CMPDI

CMPDI, in line with the Government of India’s vision for a clean and healthy nation has commenced the Swachhata Pakhwada 2026 on 16th June, 2026 by administering the Swachhta Pledge to employees at its HQ, Ranchi. Shri Chaudhari Shivraj Singh, CMD, CMPDI administered the Swachhta Pledge wherein employees pledge to dedicate 2 hours/week or 100 hours per year to swachhta related activities. Ajay Kumar, Director (T/P&D); Nripendra Nath, Director (T/CRD), R.K.Singh, ED(Exploration), CIL; GMs/HoDs and employees were present on this occasion. To engage employees and amplify the message, a Swachhta selfie booth has been placed at the premises where employees can click selfies and share messages promoting swachhata.

CMPDI will observe Swachhata Pakhwada from 16th to 30th, June 2026 across its HQ and Regional Institutes spread across 6 states and has planned a comprehensive line-up of activities and initiatives like “Awareness drive to curb Single Use Plastic (SUP), Jute bags/cloth bags distribution, Organising Essay, drawing and Quiz competitions” to spread widespread awareness, promote environmental hygiene, and inspire active participation across all levels of the organization.

Through this campaign, CMPDI reinstates its commitment to the Government of India’s vision of a clean India, encouraging sustainable practices both within the workplace and the community.
