The Pioneer scribe bags first prize in Tata Steel Ethics Quiz

Senior journalist Parvinder Bhatia from ‘The Pioneer’ emerged as the winner of the Tata Steel Ethics Quiz, securing the first prize in a keenly contested competition held on Tuesday. On the occasion, the chief guest Atul Bhatnagar, Managing Director, Tata Steel UISL, felicitated Parvinder.
The programme was organised by Tata Steel as part of its ongoing Ethics Month to strengthen ethical values and promote awareness about corporate governance, responsible journalism and the Tata Group’s rich legacy of ethics and integrity. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from journalists representing various print, electronic and digital media organisations in Jamshedpur. Second prize was bagged by Anjani Pandey followed by Manpreet Singh Bhatia at the third place.
The event was graced by Atul Bhatnagar, Managing Director, Tata Steel UISL, as the Chief Guest, while Soni Sinha, Chief Ethics Counsellor, Tata Steel, attended as the Guest of Honour.
The quiz featured covered a wide range of topics, including the Tata Group’s history, Tata Code of Conduct, corporate ethics, business integrity, media ethics, journalism standards and landmark developments in the media sector. Participants demonstrated an impressive understanding of ethical principles and contemporary issues related to journalism and corporate governance. The quiz contest was conducted by Nibha Sharma.
