Three-Day Lecture Series concludes at Santosh College

The three-day instructional lecture series organized by the Santosh College of Teachers Training and Education, Tupudana, Ranchi, successfully concluded today. The final day of the event brought together prominent administrative and academic minds to address critical themes regarding tech-driven democratic participation and the evolving landscape of professional education.
The core focus of the concluding session was “Digital Tools for Voter Verification in SIR (ECI Portals): Strengthening Electoral Awareness in Tribal Communities.”
The session’s chief resource person was Shri K. Ravi Kumar, IAS, Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), Department of Cabinet Election, Government of Jharkhand. In his address, Shri K. Ravi Kumar highlighted the pivotal role of Election Commission of India (ECI) portals and modern digital infrastructure in ensuring a transparent, hassle-free voter verification process. He laid special emphasis on leveraging these modern digital frameworks within tribal communities to bridge the accessibility gap, clear up misinformation, and systematically strengthen grassroots democratic awareness.
The event was held in the distinguished presence of Dr. Rashmi, Director of Santosh College of Teachers Training and Education, who welcomed the dignitaries and underscored the college’s ongoing commitment to hosting socially relevant, high-impact academic forums that prepare future educators for community leadership.
The second half of the valedictory day shifted focus toward career development and pedagogical excellence. Dr. Devendra Singh (LLB, MBA, MDST, LIII, Ph.D.) served as the second resource person for the day. Delivering an energetic and highly motivating lecture on “Professionalism in Teaching,” Dr. Singh urged the participating teacher-trainees to look beyond conventional textbooks and embed high standards of ethics, corporate management principles, and modern digital soft skills into their teaching methodologies.
The event concluded with an interactive Q&A session where students and faculty engaged with the experts, followed by a formal vote of thanks. The three-day lecture series successfully met its objective of aligning civic responsibility with professional educator training.
