Tributes paid to JRA president Vidyanand Mishra

June 5, 2026

PNS

Ranchi

A condolence meeting was held on Thursday at the registered office of the Jharkhand Rifle Association at Saraswati Shishu Vidya Mandir, Dhurwa, Ranchi, to pay homage to the Association’s President, Vidyanand Mishra, who passed away unexpectedly on May 31.

Office-bearers of the association and members of the school fraternity offered floral tributes to the departed soul and observed a two-minute silence in his memory. Vice-President Akhileshwar Nath Mishra recalled his association with the late leader and described his demise as an irreparable loss to society and the sporting community. He highlighted Mishra’s dedication, leadership, and service to the development of shooting sports and social causes.

Several prominent personalities, including Vivek Bhasin, school principal Lalan Kumar, and other members of the association and school family, attended the meeting and paid their respects. The gathering concluded with prayers for eternal peace for the departed soul and strength for the bereaved family.
