Music, creativity, and youthful talent took centre stage at the Kudy Mahanty Auditorium in Kadma as Western Music Classes (WMC) organized its Annual Music Concert 2026, themed “Rhythm of Life.” The event witnessed an enthusiastic response from music lovers and showcased the remarkable abilities of budding musicians from across the city.

The concert was based on the theme “Rhythm of Life,” highlighting the idea that life unfolds much like a musical composition, with its own beats, pauses, challenges, and celebrations. Through a series of carefully curated performances and orchestral arrangements, participants sought to portray the emotions and experiences that shape human existence.

The audience was treated to a captivating blend of melodies and instrumental performances that reflected the essence of the theme and demonstrated the students’ dedication to the art of music.

The programme was attended by Chief Guest Ranjita Gandhi and Special Guest Jhumjhumi Nandi, who appreciated the efforts of the students and organizers in promoting music and cultural activities in the city.

They congratulated the performers for their commitment and encouraged them to continue pursuing excellence in their artistic endeavours.

One of the major highlights of the evening was the participation of more than 80 students from Western Music Classes. The young performers impressed the audience with their confidence, technical skills, and stage presence, earning applause throughout the programme.

The concert provided a valuable platform for aspiring musicians to display their talent and gain experience performing before a large audience.

The success of the annual concert was made possible through the efforts of a dedicated organizing team led by Director Benjamin Das.
