Young advocate from Hazaribag earns global recognition in Paris

Virendra Vikram, a promising young advocate from Hazaribag, Jharkhand, has brought honor to India and his home state by being selected among the world’s top 20 young lawyers for the prestigious Summer School on Law program in Paris.
Representing India at this international forum, Vikram presented India’s perspective on contemporary global legal challenges before eminent jurists, legal experts, and academicians. His contributions on cross-border legal cooperation, artificial intelligence (AI), corporate governance, compliance, and emerging regulatory issues were highly appreciated by the panel and participants. His sharp legal acumen and active engagement earned him special recognition during the program.
Currently serving as an advocate with Reliance Infrastructure Limited, Vikram specializes in corporate law, white-collar crime, regulatory frameworks, and enforcement matters. His professional expertise and dedication have positioned him as a rising voice in India’s legal fraternity.
Educated at DAV Public School, Hazaribag, Vikram’s journey from a small town to an international platform exemplifies how talent, perseverance, and commitment can transcend boundaries. Virendra Vikram comes from a distinguished legal family. His father, Vijay Kumar Singh, is a senior advocate at Hazaribag Civil Court and currently serves as Vice President of the Advocates’ Association. His grandfather, Baleshwar Prasad Singh, is a retired District and Sessions Judge. This legacy of legal excellence continues through Vikram’s accomplishments on the international stage.
