Security forces launched an intensive search operation along the Budhmu–Keredari border in Jharkhand following intelligence inputs about the movement of cadres belonging to the banned Tritiya Prastuti Committee (TSPC).
The operation was carried out under the leadership of the Budhmu police station officer-in-charge with the support of armed security personnel. Khalaari DSP Ramnarayan Chaudhary, who monitored the operation, said the objective was to verify reports of extremist presence and ensure peace and security in the region.
Police teams conducted extensive searches in dense forests and other difficult-to-access areas while thoroughly checking suspected locations. Security personnel also kept a close watch on the movement of people in and around the border villages during the operation.
Officials said the search was part of ongoing efforts to curb extremist activities and maintain law and order in the region. They appealed to local residents to immediately inform the police about any suspicious movement or activities.
The police further stated that anti-extremist operations would continue in the area and that security measures would be strengthened to prevent any unlawful activities and instil confidence among local residents. No arrests or recoveries were reported during the operation.
