Adityapur Municipal Corporation’s Brand Ambassador Tanushree Bose has announced plans to engage young people in sanitation and cleanliness initiatives through social media platforms. She said social media has become one of the most effective tools for public awareness and can help spread the message of cleanliness to a wider audience.
During a visit to the Municipal Corporation office, Bose held discussions with officials regarding the Swachh Bharat Mission and ongoing public awareness campaigns. Deputy Municipal Commissioner Ravi Prakash and Deputy Municipal Commissioner Parul Singh were present during the interaction.
Emphasising the importance of youth participation, Bose said that no social campaign can achieve lasting success without the active involvement of young citizens. She expressed her commitment to launching awareness campaigns on social media to educate and inspire youth on issues related to sanitation, environmental conservation and civic responsibility.
Bose also appealed to residents to contribute actively towards maintaining cleanliness in their neighbourhoods and public spaces. She stressed that collective efforts from citizens are essential for building a cleaner and healthier city.
Tanushree Bose was appointed Brand Ambassador of the Adityapur Municipal Corporation in January this year. Municipal officials expressed confidence that her association with the Corporation will inject fresh energy into cleanliness and public awareness programmes, encouraging greater participation from the younger generation and strengthening the objectives of the Swachh Bharat Mission.
