BJP State President and MP Aditya Sahu launched a scathing attack on the Congress party for raising questions regarding theft of donations from Ayodhya Ram Mandir.
Sahu stated that the Congress party, is mired in vote-bank politics and appeasement, is now shedding crocodile tears over the Ayodhya Ram Mandir. Congress leaders continue to raise questions through press conferences.
He remarked that this is the same Congress party that, during the Ram Janmabhoomi movement, submitted an affidavit in court claiming Ram was a fictional character with no birthplace. He added that this is the same Congress that supported the firing upon and killing of kar sevaks.
He further noted that even when the Honorable Supreme Court validated the birthplace of Ram Lalla—who had been living under a tarpaulin sheet for years—the Congress party failed to express happiness. Moreover, when the Pran Pratishtha (consecration) of Ram Lalla took place in the grand temple, Congress leaders—whether Sonia Gandhi or Rahul Gandhi—did not even accept the invitation.
He pointed out that while the Uttar Pradesh government is swiftly investigating irregularities recently uncovered regarding the offerings and taking immediate action against those found guilty, the Congress party has suddenly started feigning concern for the Ram Mandir.
He stated that the public is well aware of the Congress party’s conduct and character. The Congress has never shown concern for Sanatan culture or for enhancing its prestige. During the inauguration of the Somnath Temple, the Congress leadership had pressured the then-President, Dr. Rajendra Prasad, not to attend, though Rajendra Babu stood firm in his decision.
He advised the Congress party to stop worrying about the Ram Mandir and instead focus on its own vote bank; appeasement and dynastic politics are the very soul of the Congress.
In another development BJP State President Aditya Sahu visited the Barkagaon residence (in Hazaribagh district) of Loknath Mahto, the former MLA of the Barkagaon assembly constituency, to express deep grief over the passing of Mahto’s wife, Molni Devi. He met the bereaved family, offered his heartfelt condolences, and paid an emotional tribute to the departed soul. It is worth noting that Loknath Mahto’s wife had passed away recently.
