CCL wins top Rajbhasha implementation award

Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) has been conferred the first prize under the Annual Award Scheme 2025-26 of the Town Official Language Implementation Committee (Undertakings), Ranchi, in recognition of its outstanding performance in the effective implementation of the Official Language Hindi and the successful conduct of various Rajbhasha-related initiatives.
The award was presented at a ceremony held at the Central Mine Planning and Design Institute (CMPDI), Ranchi. CCL General Manager (Rajbhasha) Ashok Kumar received the award from CMPDI Director (Technical/CRD) Nripendra Nath.
Deputy Director (Official Language), Eastern Region, Ministry of Home Affairs, Vichitrasen Gupta, attended the event as the observer and commended CCL’s sustained efforts towards promoting Hindi and implementing the Official Language Policy.
The achievement reflects CCL’s continued commitment to the effective implementation of the Rajbhasha Policy under the leadership of Chairman-cum-Managing Director Nilendu Kumar Singh and the guidance of Director (Personnel) Harsh Nath Mishra. Through progressive use of Hindi in technical and administrative work, regular language training for employees, and innovative Rajbhasha initiatives, CCL has established itself as a leading public sector enterprise in the field of official language implementation.
