Deoghar DC ensures no negligence in SIR work

June 2, 2026

Pioneer News Service, Deoghar

A review meeting on the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) campaign of the voter list was held on 2 June 2026 at the Collectorate Hall under the chairmanship of District Election Officer cum Deputy Commissioner Saurabh Kumar Bhuvania. All Electoral Registration Officers (EROs), AEROs, and concerned officials were present in the meeting.

During the meeting, the DEO directed officials to prepare a special action plan for BLO Supervisors and BLOs showing slow progress and to deploy additional workforce wherever necessary.

The DEO categorically stated that no negligence of any kind will be tolerated in SIR-related work and instructed all officers to perform their duties with complete seriousness and transparency.

The district administration has appealed to voters that if their names have not been mapped from the previous voter list, they should immediately contact their respective BLO (Booth Level Officer) and complete the necessary formalities.

The DEO further directed that digital records of all information and progress related to the ongoing campaign be maintained properly and that officers submit daily progress reports regularly so that all targets are achieved within the stipulated time.
