In a decisive move to streamline local governance and clear administrative backlogs, Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Dumka chaired a comprehensive review meeting on Wednesday, directing officials across all circles and departments to ensure the time-bound disposal of pending revenue, certificate, and development-related matters. Reviewing the status of Certificate Cases and revenue proceedings, the Deputy Commissioner called for immediate momentum in resolving overdue files. Officials were instructed to expedite action on land mutation, internal resource collection, and land transfer proposals. Evaluating proceedings in various revenue courts via the RCMS portal, the DC emphasized routine internal reviews to guarantee prompt, rule-based case clearance, while also reviewing administrative matters regarding the formal appointment of Gram Pradhans and the settlement of pending payments to them and their assistants.
Addressing ongoing digital transition efforts, the DC prioritized the execution of pending records following the digitization of land documentation. Under the PM-Kisan scheme, department heads were tasked with completing land-seeding and e-KYC verification for all remaining eligible farmers in the district on a priority basis. Additionally, the DC instructed that applications for caste and residential certificates must not face unnecessary administrative delays and must be processed strictly within established timelines. Focusing on public safety and welfare, the Deputy Commissioner highlighted the need for heightened sensitivity and rapid response when managing natural disaster claims, directing officials to ensure that financial assistance and government aid reach citizens affected by heavy rainfall, severe storms, lightning strikes, and fires without delay.
