The session focused on evaluating the compliance of past directives and assessing the ground-level progress of ongoing beautification and infrastructure projects across key tourist destinations in the region.
Adopting a strict stance on project timelines, the Deputy Commissioner directed executing agencies and departmental heads to ensure all construction works are completed within the stipulated timeframe. He emphasized that maintaining high quality standards is paramount to creating a seamless and enriched experience for visiting tourists.
Reviewing specific sites, officials informed the DC that the comprehensive beautification drives at Srishti Park and the Selfie Bridge are on the verge of completion. Reacting to the update, Sinha instructed the public relations and tourism teams to design high-quality promotional videos of these spots for widespread media dissemination, maximizing tourist footfall to these newly upgraded attractions.
In a significant move to revamp the popular Tatloi hot springs, the Deputy Commissioner ordered the immediate drafting of a technical and administrative action plan to construct an artificial waterfall at the site. This addition is intended to complement the natural hot water springs and offer a more dynamic experience to visitors. Simultaneously, he passed strict instructions to ensure daily upkeep and rigorous cleanliness protocols across all public tourist venues.
