Hitesh Bhagat appointed EO Member Engagement Chair, Ranchi!
In every successful entrepreneurial community, there are individuals who quietly strengthen the relationships that make the community meaningful. They may not always seek the spotlight, but their work leaves a lasting impact. Hitesh Bhagat, Director of Doon Decors and Exhibits Pvt. Ltd., is one such entrepreneur.
Recently entrusted with the responsibility of Member Engagement Chair of the Ranchi chapter of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO), Hitesh sees the role not as a designation, but as an opportunity to deepen connections among entrepreneurs who are collectively shaping the future of the region.
Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) is a global network of nearly 20,000 entrepreneurs across 224 chapters in 62 countries, offering peer-to-peer learning, leadership development, and exclusive events to help business owners grow personally and professionally.
For Hitesh, entrepreneurship has always been about people before projects. Having spent over two decades building Doon Decors from a traditional family enterprise into one of Jharkhand’s respected event infrastructure and experiential companies, he believes that businesses grow strongest when built on trust, relationships, and consistency.
“Events may last a day, but relationships should last a lifetime,” is a thought that reflects both his professional journey and his approach to leadership.
Those who know him describe him as calm under pressure, approachable, patient, and generous with his time. His quiet smile and composed nature have made him someone people naturally turn to for collaboration and support. Rather than leading with authority, he prefers leading through participation—listening first, understanding different perspectives, and bringing people together.
As Member Engagement Chair, Hitesh hopes to create an environment where every EO member feels connected, valued, and involved. His vision is simple yet meaningful: to ensure that EO Ranchi is not merely a networking platform but a close-knit community where entrepreneurs learn from one another, support each other through challenges, celebrate successes together, and build friendships that extend beyond business.
He believes that genuine engagement comes from thoughtful experiences rather than frequent activities. Whether through family interactions, learning sessions, informal gatherings, or collaborative initiatives, his focus will remain on creating moments that strengthen the human side of entrepreneurship.
Beyond business, Hitesh is known for his belief in continuous learning and purposeful growth. He has consistently explored new ideas, technologies, and management practices while staying grounded in the values that shaped his entrepreneurial journey—humility, discipline, integrity, and perseverance.
His appointment also reflects the growing contribution of Ranchi’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. EO Ranchi continues to bring together founders and business leaders from diverse industries, fostering an environment where members inspire one another to grow not only as entrepreneurs but also as individuals.
Speaking about his new responsibility, Hitesh says, “I am grateful for the trust placed in me. Member engagement is about creating an atmosphere where everyone feels they belong. If we can build stronger friendships, encourage meaningful conversations, and help members learn from each other’s journeys, we will have fulfilled the true spirit of EO.”
In an era where leadership is often measured by visibility, Hitesh Bhagat represents a quieter philosophy—one that values consistency over recognition, service over status, and relationships over transactions.
As he begins this new role as Member engagement chair with EO Ranchi, his journey reminds us that communities are not built by titles; they are built by people who genuinely care about others. Sometimes, the most impactful leaders are those who simply help everyone else feel connected.
